Job Opening. Solutions Architect


The MOBI Solutions Architect is responsible for pre-sales technical evaluation, design, support and strategic planning during the sales cycle. The Solutions Architect will work with the Sales team to determine if/how a customer fits within MOBI.  They will collaborate with Developers, Directors and Operations to estimate projects and then develop a solution and plan.  They will act as lead manager for solution execution.

Solution Architect is also responsible for creating Pre-Sales Documentation including but not limited to:

    • Scope / Statements of Work
    • Objectives
    • Goals
    • Client Responsibilities
    • MOBI Responsibilities
    • Level of Effort
    • Proposed Budget
    • Solution Flowcharts
    • Presentation materials

          Skills Required To Be Successful

  • Computer Science and/or Business background
  • Experience in Solution Design, Sales Engineering or Technical Pre-Sales
  • Understanding and experience with enterprise software solutions and implementation
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to articulate the value of a products/solutions
  • Strong problem solving skills; the ability to translate requirements into MOBI solution offerings and/or determine and create project plans for opportunities where the business case justifies a custom solution
  • Ability to interact with others in a cooperative fashion to build strong rapport based on credibility
  • Ability to analyze and understand data and the relationships within the data and how it is used by the business


  • Establish and maintain subject matter expertise for the suite of MOBI products and solution
  • Establish and maintain subject matter expertise in Enterprise Mobility Management environments
  • Work with MOBI Direct Sales and select Channel Sales teams to qualify opportunities, design solutions and drive business objectives
  • Partner closely with MOBI Development, Implementation, Operations, Deployment and Marketing teams to build scalable customer solutions
  • Build a strong rapport with internal and external clients through establishing credibility, knowledge and value
  • Assist in RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses, identifying gaps and challenges from a solution standpoint
  • Conduct Discovery and Technical Solution Design Activities during the sales process (Web-based and Onsite)
  • Translate customer goals and requirements into definable solutions
  • Conduct web-based and onsite MOBI platform solution demonstrations for prospective clients
  • Provide technical expertise in team selling situations
  • Present complex technical information in a meaningful way by adapting the message to the audience, including executive and C-level teams in Fortune 500 companies
  • Recruit internal resources, as necessary, to identify and achieve goals
  • Participate in trade conferences
