Thanks for the comment Hyoun. We couldn't agree with you more! Every mobile telecom program is different, and well-managed environments require flexible technology and dynamic support teams to mold around existing process while leaving room for strategic improvement. For this reason, we continue to build configurable features into the MOBI Portal such as Dynamic Approvals and the upcoming Report Builder, which allow data to be extracted and used in the manner best suited for those strategic initiatives. Furthermore, MOBI prides itself on being engrained with a customer's strategic direction helping them address the now while planning for what's around the corner. Finally, cost control is just one of many responsibilities that today's telecom manager has on his/her plate. In fact, we've identified 20 other responsibilities of mobile telecom management that require an equal amount of time (if not more) including everything from Developing & Establishing Technical and Operating Standards to New Technology Research. MOBI is hired to help power mobile telecom management through the use of centralized technology, dynamic support, and expert advice, which equates to much more than simply controlling costs.

These are the types of concerns that I was concerned about as I researched Wireless Expense Management as well. How are companies positioning their current and ongoing operations to align with key strategic business and mobility concerns? It has been a consistent weakness in WEM that has left end users unable to quantify the fruits of their labor and adequately describe the importance of a well-managed environment. It's interesting to see how some vendors only focus on the cost management aspects of their solution rather than a strategic vision of structuring future IT investments through their TEM and WEM efforts.
