Customer Reduces Mobility Costs by $13 per Device per Month

Prior to partnering with MOBI, the customer’s employees worked directly with the carrier of their choice to order devices and decide on voice/data/messaging plans. When the carrier bills were received, each line was individually paid by the corresponding employee’s aligned corporate credit card, pending approval by his or her supervisor.

In October 2013, the customer presented on its mobility program at the Telecom Expense Management Conference. One of the topics brought to light included the company’s device management issues prior to implementing their MOBI solution. One of the issues they discussed dealt with employees incurring excessive overage and international charges month after month. Another issue centered on their previous “robo-payment” system, through which carrier bills were paid without any review.
